Temple Builders and Mission One Million

Obesity is an epidemic that affects us not only nationwide, but right here in our community as well. About two out of three people that live in Jacksonville are obese. Obesity is the leading cause of many preventable diseases, including diabetes, heart disease and stroke. The Mission One Million movement was founded by the DCMS Foundation and Mayor Lenny Curry. The goal of Mission One Million is for the citizens of Jacksonville to lose one million pounds! With the start of the new year, there’s no better time than now.

Temple Builders has committed to being a community partner in the M1M movement. We are asking you, our members, to join in on the mission and invite your friends and family. Registration is easy, all you have to do is sign up on the link shown here: http://904missiononemillion.com/registration/. To track your weight loss progress, just login and enter your current weight. You choose the goal that best fits your health and fitness needs and it’s up to you to commit and track your progress, it’s that simple.

Temple Builders is here to help you achieve your goal. Come in for our personal training sessions, take our Boot Camp classes, or swim a few laps in our heated indoor pool. Whatever you need to reach your personal goal, we at Temple Builders can provide it. And there’s no better way to reach a goal than by sharing it. Grab a buddy to share your goals with, and to help provide motivation during your journey. Our friendly staff is also available to provide support and advice. It is always important to have a strong support system to help fuel your weight loss mission.
